Why WW2TV? What are the goals?

The WW2 Battlefields

Dedicated people and organisations around the globe have successfully been recording and archiving the testimonies of the WW2 veterans for years. Sadly, that era is now coming to a close. Now we need to think about recording the fields of combat before the inevitable march of time sees them lost to progress. WW2TV will preserve them on film. Throughout 2020 we have been live streaming from the battlefields of Europe with top historians and often on the exact anniversaires.

Virtual Travel

Paul Woodadge, the creator of WW2TV spent 2 decades guiding visitors around the Normandy battlefields.

His is now bringing the battlefields to your home, wherever you may be. You will be able to move up the DDay landing beaches, battle through hedgerows, traverse fields, mountains, towns and cities and see what the men of WW2 saw - live on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/c/WW2TV

Giving a voice to all Historians

There are many historians, authors, tour guides and arm-chair battlefield experts currently without a global voice for their work. Many TV companies will not use these passionate and knowledgeable people. WW2TV will provide a platform for these people to share their stories in interviews, films and features.

Whether amateur or professional, WW2TV will bring the best experts to you.
